# Work with others

> Invite people, talk next to the work, and share links.

## Roles

| Role | Can |
| - | - |
| Owner | Everything, including sharing, visibility, and deleting |
| Editor | Change the canvas |
| Viewer | View and comment |

## Invite

Click **Share**, enter a username or email, choose **Can edit** or **Can view**, and **Send invite**.

Invitees get an email link (valid 7 days). People with an account also get a notification. New people sign up from the link and land in the project.

Only the owner can invite, change roles, or remove people. Editors and viewers can leave a project anytime.

## Live editing

You see collaborators' cursors, avatars, and the blocks they've selected. Edits appear instantly.

## Comments

Comment on a board (header icon) or a block (right-click → **Comment**). Reply, mention people with `@`, and resolve threads. Editors and owners can resolve.

## Project chat

Open **Project chat** from the toolbar. Mention people with `@`, tag boards or blocks, and add GIFs or emoji.

## Notifications

The bell on your dashboard shows messages, replies, mentions, invites, and comments.

## Public link

The owner can switch the project from **Project private** to **Project public** in the header. Anyone with the link can then view every board, without signing in. Switch back to revoke.

## Embed

**Share → Embed** gives you an iframe for the current board. It works only while the project is public.
